For the final render, I set up the same lighting environment as in Substance Painter by finding the file location and importing that directly into a sky sphere in Maya. I felt that the warm light looked very realistic for Leona’s environment in Dungeons and Dragons (Gygax and Arneson, 1974) at sunset. I also used Maya and After Effects colour correction settings to add more depth to the shadows and more purple/pink hues. My final render was created in Maya with Arnold and exported as an image sequence at 2k resolution settings.
